Installation

Installation in 6 steps

  1. Prepare the wallThe surface must be clean, dry, dust-free and as flat as possible. On uneven walls, fix levelling battens first.
  2. Acclimatise the panelsLeave the panels in the room 24–48 h before fitting, lying flat in their packaging.
  3. Mark and planDecide the direction (vertical raises the room, horizontal widens it), mark a level line and plan sockets and switches.
  4. Cut to sizeUse a fine-tooth saw and support the panel well; cut the felt with a utility knife. Test socket cut-outs on an offcut.
  5. Glue and fixApply mounting adhesive (Montage Kit) to the back of the panel and press it to the wall. On ceilings, always add screws between the slats.
  6. FinishStick the self-adhesive caps on cut slat ends and wipe off adhesive residue with a clean cloth.

Tips

Tips from people who fit them daily

Order +10% spare

For cuts and adjustments; keep 1–2 panels for future repairs.

Same colour, year after year

LDA colours stay consistent between batches: you can order top-ups years later and get the same shade.

Vertical vs. horizontal

Vertical “lifts” the ceiling; horizontal visually widens a narrow hall.

Plan LED lighting first

Cables and LED strips go in before the panels; see the made-to-order options.

Interior, dry spaces only

Do not fit in areas with direct moisture (shower, outdoors).

Simple cleaning

Soft-brush vacuum or slightly damp cloth; the antistatic treatment reduces dust build-up.
